I think the other dolls of this era--maybe Sweet Roses PJ and Dream Date PJ--have squishy heads. I wonder why this doll doesn't? Its not soft and squishy like my other pj dolls. Is your pj sun gold pj like that too with a hard vinyl head? (But now I have three, thanks to you!) :)

I was able to get PJ's hair nice and shiny with a little clear Method brand hand soap and Dove oil-free conditioner.

But what I don't understand is why my LinkWithin suggestions aren't including any other Steffie-of-the-day posts. ;)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16561766892147111289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-483220306879316881.post-9935464664759144662011-06-20T18:02:58.238-07:002011-06-20T18:02:58.238-07:00Actually, the greasy hair occurred right out of th...Actually, the greasy hair occurred right out of the box - drove me crazy when I got this girl back in the day, because I spent a LOT of time trying to rinse the "grease" out of her hair.

There was something going on with the materials the overseas manufacturers used at the time, because a LOT of dolls had lank, greasy hair that NO amount of cleaning could cure. Hawai'ian Barbie had this problem, as did some of the DotW Barbies. Usually, it was the raven hair that had that nasty, greasy feel, but some of the blondes had it, too.miladybluehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01063936507480569735noreply@blogger.com
