Aria

My latest addition is Iplehouse Aria, white resin SID. She's got make-up style A, and she's just lovely.

Here, she's in an Iplehouse wig, and in the White Swan dress and bolero, and I think she's just wonderful.

Clothing optional?

Iplehouse EID Yur by alington

The only bad thing about an eclectic collection is when clothing doesn't fit.

I'm not talking about tailoring problems. I'm talking about when you can't slide a pair of stretch pants up over a doll's thighs. That's when you know you have an issue.

Why, oh why, can't I just be happy with what I have?

Well, just look at her. It's Iplehouse EID Yur (she's as pretty as the promo). She's a mere 65 cm tall (that's a little more than 25.5 inches). I have plenty of room in my cabinet. And she's the "medium" bust size. There is also a "large" bust option. (I can only imagine!) She is in the special real skin resin, which is a wonderful, hard-to-pour tan color and has a company face-up.

I see spandex, double-stretch jersey, and corsets in my future!

But isn't she gorgeous? You can see additional photos on Flickr.

Iplehouse Amy

Ack! Now, where did this doll come from!

Let me introduce you to Iplehouse JID Amy. She's an older doll (I think from 2009) and has special real skin. Somehow, she's ended up in my home.

Eventually, she'll need a new face-up--it's starting to peel a little at the head cap--and she needs new eyelashes. And she definitely needs some new clothes. She's the small bust version, and isn't quite right for MSD sizes.

But oh, is she cute. She has teeth showing. I just love her!

Iplehouse Elemental Guardians

My favorite BJD company just released two BID (baby iplehouse dolls) in their "Elemental Guardians" collection. These dolls are 26cm tall (about 10 1/4 inches). Although I prefer the older looking dolls, these babies were cute and I thought I'd share here since they're still beautiful dolls. If you're interested, check out the website HERE.

2 New Noctarcana Circus Dolls

Iplehouse makes an amazing line of "Noctarcana Circus" BJD dolls and there are 2 new ones available for preorder.  They are both part of the SID & EID lines so they are the largest sizes at 65-70cm.

First there is Eva the Tightrope walker.  I absolutely adore her fashion and parasol!  Then there is Bichun, the martial artist, and he's got a fabulous new facesculpt.  Both dolls are retailing for $650-780, but that's without wig, outfits or faceups, so it'll cost a pretty penny for these gorgeous dolls.  At least I can ogle the eye candy and wish I had that kind of disposable income to spend on dolls, LOL.

Benny, an Iplehouse JID Special Edition

Well, Iplehouse has been hinting to its customers that a dark skinned JID girl with African features was coming and today a sneak peek was posted on their site HERE.  No official pricing or selling period has been posted, but when that information becomes available I will update you.

The Iplehouse JID line of dolls are MSD sized (45cm or about 16") but they are not "slim" MSD's.  This line is much curvier through the hips and thighs than other BJD lines.  I currently have 2 from that line and have noticed that most MSD sized clothing will not fit them unless it's stretchy, although I have found that all the Best Friends Club, Inc. doll clothing does fit them really well.
