IT Update - shipping and more

Edge, Vanessa Perrin
Ombres Poetique, Mademoiselle Jolie
Integrity has announced the approximate shipping times of several dolls (better for budgeting, I guess--especially over the holidays):

Edge, Vanessa Perrin: week of December 15, 2105

Ombres Poetique, Mademoiselle Jolie: week of January 5, 2015

Nicely, IT will be offering combined shipping for those of members who have ordered both dolls.

Jem an the Holograms fans, be on the lookout for the 30th anniversary celebration of Jem in 2015. Members were offered a sneak peek of one of the first dolls to be offered in this line (she can't be ordered yet--more info will be coming soon). The hint, for you collectors, is that, "We hear she's pretty good at conducting interviews and has her own hit Rock TV show."

I'm just going to say it--I'm shocked to hear that Jem is turning 30--I thought she was much younger than that! I didn't grow up in the US, and I'm not familiar with this doll from my youth, though I remember seeing the dolls on return visits to my grandparents and family. I had no idea I was 12 when she was released! I guess I probably was a little beyond cartoons at that point--though I still loved Barbies!

New JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS release from Integrity Toys and Hasbro

Though I'm not really a Jem and the Holograms fan, I may need to make a confession. I might have had a slip-up this latest release. I may have a Jem girl on my way home. I just can't believe it. This latest release was pretty amazing.

First, using the new Quick Switch 2.0 feature head, it Clash Montgomery, using the lovely Kimber Benton head sculpt, Japan skin tone, and including three heads. The first has orange and teal hair, the second electric purple, the third a blond ponytail. Clash wears a fantastic micro sequined minidress with belts, faux fur shrug, and pumps, plus her signature cymbal bracelets. She's LE750 and $125.

Next, we have Danse Dvorak, LE500 $125. She uses the Pizzazz head sculpt and FR white skin tone, with blonde hair with blue and pink streaks. She include two outfits--the sparkling pants, white bodysuit, orange sash, and sparkling blue and pink jacket, plus and additional lavender dance outfit, complete with leg warmers.

The doll that broke into my hard collector's heart has to be this one. She is coming home to me. It's Regine Cesaire (congratulations, IT designers--you got an anti-hem collector to bring Jem into her household, because she is just amazing!), LE500 $119. I think she is lovely. She has the light honey skin tone, new wave blue hair (!!!), and uses the Janay 3.0 head. This character is a designer, so she includes a mini portfolio, and she wears one of her own amazing designs--a pink dress with black polkadot peplum, and faux corset front, with blue shoulders. I love the details of her polkadot tights and arm warmers, too. Vaugn and Alain--just amazing on this doll!

Video Montgomery is Clash's sister, and she is the character responsible for making all the girls' videos big on MTV. Her accessories are amazing--she includes a state-of-the-art (for the 1980s) video recorder with moving parts. It's so cute! But my favorite detail has to be the banana clip in her hair. I love that she's wearing yellow slacks as to accent to the banana clip in her hair as well. Her structured periwinkle suit jacket is so whimsical--I just love it. And the silver streak in her hair--she was a close second for me. She's $119 and limited to 500 as well.

Integrity Toys new release: JEM & THE HOLOGRAMS

Three new JEM & THE HOLOGRAMS characters are available for preorder from your favorite Integrity Toys dealer. I have to confess, I haven't been terribly into this line, but I'm impressed with the quality of their clothing and the detail that go into these dolls. The designers are really into them, and you can really tell.

All three are scheduled for a March 17th arrival date, and they are $119 retail. They use the taller Color Infusion body, include extra posing hands, stands, and tons of accessories.

My favorite of the three is Astral Eldrich. She's limited to 500, and has amazing lavender and blue hair. I think it's styled in a high ponytail, but I can't tell from the photos. Her accessories are neat. She's a magician friend of Jem's, and includes gold handcuffs--I mean, how cool is that? Don't you want her just for those??--a deck of cards (it looks like you have to cut them out yourself), and a magician's hat.

Next up, Jetta Burns. She's a member of The Misfits. Come on, I need her tiny black chrome saxophone. (My son just started playing!) I love the detail. Her black and white outfit is very cool, too. And OMG--her mega bangs--not like I ever styled my hair like that... Oh yes--she's limited to 750.

Last but not least, also limited to 750, Raya Alonso. She's knowns as the fifth member of JEM & THE HOLOGRAMS, and includes a cool adjustable drum set. Amazingly, her retail cost is the same as the other dolls, $119.

New IT releases - better late than never - The Stingers!

So, what have I been doing this whole time? Other than trying to break my foot and traveling, not much, it seems.

I missed an Integrity Toys release for you all, and I apologize.

This time, even more Jem and the Holograms have been released--The Stingers--three more dolls to this line. Apparently, these dolls must be selling very well. While I don't personally collect this line--I grew up in Germany, and must have missed the original Hasbro collection and TV show--this release of is pretty cool.

Rory Riot Llewelyn, Ingrid Minx Kruger and Phoebe Rapture Ashe make up the band The Stingers. All are blonde with big hair--especially Riot, with his huge Whitesnake-look alike do. Their outfits are pretty cool, and again, gorgeous mini instruments, I have to admit, especially a neat keyboard for Minx. Retail is $119, with an estimated delivery of September. I don't actually see an edition size for these dolls.

W Club Exclusive Jem & the Holograms doll

The final W Club exclusive doll has been announced, and it's an exclusive Jem and the Holograms doll - Broadway Magic Jem. She retails for $119, and will be shipping in the fall of this year. W Club members have till June 17 to complete their orders for this doll, and every member is guaranteed the right to purchase one of these dolls. Edition size will be based on the number of orders received.

She includes a cardboard diorama backdrop which requires assembly (designed by Alain Tremblay), a wireless microphone, a fake love letter from Rio, tickets and the showbill to her debut show, and a ticket to Ellis Island.

Her outfit includes Jemstar earrings, pink pumps, and a strapless asymmetric gown with a white ruffle. Jem uses the Japan skin tone, side glancing blue eyes, and pink rooted hair in a partial up-do.

Better late than never--SDCC Integrity/Hasbro Jem exclusive

Integrity Toys has previewed the doll Hasbro will be offering at the San Diego Comic Con booth #3329 (July 18-21, 2013) as its Jem and the Holograms exclusive doll: Glitter 'n Gold Jem/Jerrica Benton. Additionally, as an IT Direct exclusive, Glitter 'N Gold Rio Pacheco will be offered as a companion.

Jem uses a new, smiling face sculpt (I think it's really cute, actually!), and she has pink and golden blonde hair (I love it!) with hand-applied lashes. She includes two fashions:

  • an evening look, which includes a white satin bodysuit with gold embroidery, gold mesh tights, gold pumps, gold lamé high slit skirt with oversized bow, white faux fur stole with lamé trim, bangle bracelets, and Jemstar earrings
  • white pencil skirt and matching pumps, which match the bodysuit for a separate look
Additionally, she includes a stand, a microphone, her Glitter 'N Gold award, and extra posing hands. (The Jerrica Benton doll is sold separately.) The doll uses the Japan skin tone and has a new facial screening with side-glancing eyes.

According to an email from Integrity, the entire production run and sale will be handled by Hasbro, and they will be handling all sales at the SDCC booth. You'll need to be there in person to buy it--any extras will be available for sale online at the Hasbro Toy Shop, but in the past, these dolls have sold out quickly. Interestingly, I don't see an edition size listed.

Integrity is producing a limited edition Glitter 'N Gold Rio Pacheco doll. His cost is $119 plus shipping and handling, and he will be available for the public for sale on July 17, 2013. W Club Members will be giving a priority link starting July 16, 2013. He will be available while quantities last, and will be shipping the week of July 22. Again, I don't see an edition size on this doll, either.

He has rooted purple hair, side glancing blue eyes, and is a Latino skin tone FR:Homme body. He includes a gold jacket, long sleeve shirt and bow tie, plus white pants, shoes and socks. His accessories include a gold watch, record, a white rose for Jem, and champagne bottle and glasses for a toast. Of course, he also includes a stand.

New Jem dolls - The Misfits!

More dolls have been added to the Jem and the Holograms collection--this time, it's Jem's rival group, The Misfits. Dolls retail for $119, limited to 1200 dolls each, with an estimated ship date of May 2013.

First up, it's Phyllis "Pizzazz" Gabor. She's the ultimate in 1980s fashion with her lime green hair, belted zebra print mini dress, pumps and single sock. She includes both a microphone and electric guitar, extra hands, and mini magazine.

May "Stormer" Phillips is the next new addition. She has gorgeous blue curls, black faux leather mini, sparkling bustier top, fishnets and black pumps. She includes a detailed guitar synthesizer, sheet music and extra hands.

With platinum hair, eyelash sweater with belt, and holographic skinny capris, Roxanne "Roxy" Pelligrini makes her first appearance with the Misfits. She includes a detail pink guitar, mini Misfits paper album, and alternate hands.

Jem and the Holograms - meet the Holograms

Jem and the Holograms are splashing into Integrity's scene with three new dolls. All dolls are limited to 1000, retail for $119, and have an estimated delivery date of early March. They each include a pretty amazingly detailed instrument, as well.

Shana Elmsford comes dressed in a metallic purple minidress with matching pumps, sparkling tights and a silver coat. I love her lavender curls!
Aja Leith is a blue-haired beauty dressed in a metallic pink blouse with matching pumps, purple snakeskin mini, dark sparkling hose, and rhinestone stud earrings.

Fiery redhead Kimber Benton comes dressed in a ruffled fuchsia blouse, snug white jacket with piping, "white washed" pleated and yoke jeans, and fuchsia pumps. Check out the details on her keytar.

Jem and the Holograms - Wave I

Integrity Toys and Hasbro is pleased to announce Wave 1 of Jem and the Holograms, now available to pre-order from your favorite Integrity Toys dealer, like Treasure Dolls. Dolls are estimated to ship November 2012.

First up and shown above, Classic Jem. Limited to 1000, retail $119. She has applied eyelashes, gorgeous pink hair, pink minidress with silver fringed belt, fishnet stockings, microphone with base, and doll stand.

Jerrica Benton is limited to 850 and retails for $119. This is the first time Jerrica (Jem by night) has been seen as a stand-alone doll. She includes a turquoise and white striped shirtdress, matching cap and pumps, purse, and doll-sized Jem album and music industry magazine.

Synergy is limited to 750 doll and retails for $119. This is the artificial intelligence 3D holograph projector, which transforms Jerrica into Jem--if you're not familiar with Jem's story. She includes a gift box containing JemStar earrings for Jerrica, an additional pair of metallic gloved hands and lavender colored hands. I have to say I adore her hair.

An Integrity release wouldn't be complete without the man candy. Rio Pacheco, Jerrica's boyfriend doesn't disappoint. (Check out those deck shoes!) He includes a pleather varsity jacket, pleated trousers, salmon t-shirt, and OMG a new wave watch (it looks like a Swatch!), duffle bag and backstage pass.

Seeing these photos makes me think of "Saved by the Bell." Like, OH my gaw-! Please tell me I never tried to get my hair that big.

IT: Opening Night Thursday

Thursday's welcome dinner was delicious--and Force of Nature Agnes Von Weiss made her appearance as the table centerpiece. Blonde and tan, she still doesn't look very pleased in her gorgeous teal silk chiffon gown. Even numbers were drawn for the right to purchase this centerpiece doll.

Each attendee was also treated to Wrap-ture Anja as a special gift doll as well, in addition to dolly-sized beach chairs for lounging.

No photography was permitted during the sneak previews of upcoming Jem and The Holograms presentation. It turns out that these new dolls will be based on the original 1980s era cartoon, rather than remakes of the original Hasbro dolls. Synergy was previewed as well as Jerrica (a morphing version of Jem), as an upcoming ad, and the dolls look very fun. There are also plans to create Rio, Jem's boyfriend.

Guests were each treated to a pair of Jem-themed earbuds as well.
