The new basic Tonner girls have arrived, and I love both! Their wigs are just a tad thin, but easy to style, and I'm not a fan of their plastic sandals, but both girls are gorgeous.

This is Ultimate Basic Sydney Chase, dressed in a Tudor-inspired historical fashion by Jennygrey. The outfit is made from silk and chiffon.

Sydney has had a face-up by Beesou of Overnight Flight, and she's super soft and natural. She's wearing one of her original red wigs.

Tonner Doll has created a few resin fashion BJDs, including this love inset-eye Ultimate Basic Sydney.

Mine has had a new face-up by Beesou of Overnight Flight, and she is much softer now. Her lips are originally painted quite brightly.

I think Tonner's resin is just a lovely shade--and so gorgeous. I can't wait till Tonner's convention this year--I'm hoping for a resin Daphne!

The lovely Classic Elegance Sydney is in stock and on sale at Toni's Collectibles, brand new in her box with free shipping (everything over $100 has free shipping!). She's from 2007.

I know this doll got a little grief for being a little warmer (pewter and antique gold) than her icy promo photo. But I think these warmer colors give her a more antique feel. She is perfect.

Her rhinestone jewelry and and lace gloves add the finishing touches to her multi-tiered 1920s inspired, lace, embroidered organza and metallic chiffon gown. (Whew!)
