Mod Barbie Fashion, Bermuda Holidays, stock #1810

This is Barbie's Bermuda Holiday's fashion, on the market from 1967-1968. This fashion included a cotton floral print tunic with four green buttons, a matching cotton hat, green bermuda shorts, and hot pink soft flats shoes. The Barbie tag can be found inside the tunic and the pink flats are marked Japan. The shorts are the hardest part of this fashion to find.

Here is Barbie Gypsy Spirit fashion which was issued in 1970. This ensemble is comprised of a light pink nylon blouse with gold trim and a turquoise suede vest and skirt with looped braid trim. Both the blouse and skirt tie with snaps. Any of the following four types of shoes will complete this fashion, hot pink pilgrims or t-straps or aqua pilgrims or t-straps. Look for a blouse with an intact waist elastic and a vest that still has it's ties.

Here is Barbie's Tennis Team fashion from 1970-1971. This sports ensemble includes a white tennis dress with two orange bows, tennis shoes, a tennis racket, and a ball. All the items are very easy to find and you should be able to complete this fashion near mint and complete for under $50.

Mod Barbie Fashion, Now Knit, stock #1452

Here is Barbie's Now Knit fashion, issued in 1970. The ensemble consists of a sleeveless green knit dress with silver bands, a matching plush hat with royal blue band, a wide silvertone belt, a scarf with silvertone "ring", and royal blue pilgrim or t-strap shoes. The back of the dress ties with a set of snaps. The hardest part of this fashion to find is the scarf and ring.

Mod Barbie Fashion, Glowin' Out, stock #3404

Barbie's Glowin' Out fashion was on the market from 1971-1972. The fashion includes a sleeveless dress with a satin top and brocade floral skirt. There are two satin bows at the waist. The dress ties in the back with snaps. You will find the Barbie tag on the inside back of the dress. The hot pink shoes were either pilgrims or t-straps. The brocade on the skirt is easily silvered so look for dresses which retain the original coloring.

Barbie Fun Flakes fashion was available in 1971 and 1972. It includes a blouse, jacket, pants and shoes. The shoes found with this ensemble can be either hot pink pilgrims or t-straps. Shoes will be marked Japan, Taiwan, or unmarked.. The Barbie tag is located on the upper inside back of the jacket. Look for this fashion with an intact pants waist elastic (it is often dried out and stretched) and the correct number of buttons and snaps.

Mod Barbie fashion, Baby Doll Pinks, stock #3403

Barbie's fashion, Barbie Doll Pinks was available from 1971-1972. It consisted of a bright pink nighty and  matching fluffy slippers. The nighty has a red-orange ribbon bow. The straps are made from the same ribbon. Barbie's tag can be found inside the back of the gown. The nighty is common, the slippers can be difficult to find. The slippers will shrink if washed so be sure to search for a clean fashion, free from stains or excessive play wear.
