W Club Luncheon - NuFace returns

Chrome Noir Erin Salston - giveaway doll, W Club luncheon

NuFace was the theme of the W Club luncheon this year at the Integrity Toys convention. The dolls have gotten a body upgrade--with a better arm structure (similar to FR2) and a slightly more uplifted rear.

The giveaway doll was Chrome Noir. This lovely Erin has dark hair with a streak of brown, in a sequin shorts outfit.

Sensuous Affair Giselle Diefendorf - centerpiece
Additionally, Sensuous Affair Giselle Diefendorf was available for purchase. This centerpiece was available for all attendees for $150.

Evening Siren Ayumi N.
This doll is a brand new sculpt. A new body and a new look, too--Jason Wu collaborated with Vaughn to complete her look. She was also available at the W Club luncheon for purchase. I'm not sure about her price.
Tantalizing Dominique Makeda - official workshop doll
Rob's official workshop doll, this lovely doll Tantalizing was available in the salesroom (with the enrollment of a workshop), and she was also announced at the luncheon. (I think she's my favorite!)

OOAK Erin Salston
NuFantasy collection Erin, this one of a kind doll was available in the raffle room. She was inspired by Little Red Riding Hood.

OOAK Giselle Diefendorf
A little modern, a little disco, a little 70s, NuFace makes a comeback with this one of a kind Giselle, also offered as a raffle win.

Saturday W Club luncheon

One of the things I'd heard about Integrity Toys convention is: do not miss the W Club luncheon. I'm so glad I didn't!

All attendees (and there were a lot!) had the opportunity to purchase the lovely centerpiece doll, Escapism Elise Jolie, a new FR: Squared doll. Dressed in a lovely chiffon polkadot gown with an oversized flower detail, empire waist, and train, she comes complete with the fabulous accessories we come to expect from this higher end doll line.

Guests were each treated to a three-pack of FR: Squared shoes as well, when we were seated for our meal, which I also enjoyed. (We ate a lot of chicken during convention, which I can understand--this was on a bed of angel hair pasta, with avocado, tomato and cheese baked over the top.)

In front of each place setting there was an envelope in which we were to order the centerpiece doll, a "mystery doll," or both. The Mystery Doll turned out to be Victorie Roux, who has returned from a lovely tropical vacation on Saint Tropez. We've heard there may be more exploration for her from other fashion eras, as well.

Also in store for next year: Funny Face! The older Vero sculpt will be used on a Poppy body to bring this Paramount classic to plastic. The promo photos look delicious, but no photography was permitted.
