Skipper's purse-pal doll case was manufactured by SPP and was available in 1965 in pink or blue. It is another rare case and the only one made in the shape and style of a purse. The exterior of the case has an amazing amount of detail and includes a Skipper doll in Red Sensation, a dollhouse, books, a toy horse, a guitar, a ball, blocks, and a young girl in a red plaid dress.
The interior of the case is white and has two compartments: one section for the Skipper doll and one section for her clothes and accessories. Another crown jewel of vintage vinyl!

Vintage Barbie & Skipper equistrienne carrying case
By
Kathie
The interior of the case was either white or a floral design and contained 2 accessory drawers, 2 clothing racks, a hard-to-find zippered garment bag, and two spaces for dolls. This is one of the crown jewel cases in my collection.

Vintage Barbie goes travelin' carrying case
By
Kathie

There is a see-through window on both sides from which you can see Barbie looking out-too cute! The manufacturer of this case was Standard Plastics Products (SPP).
The interior of the case has one accessory drawer, a plastic seat for Barbie, and a small area to hang clothes. The Barbie shown here was the childhood doll of my friend Lois who gifted her to me when I started collecting vintage Barbie.
