Bus Stop Darla Daley

Bus Stop Darla Daley by alington
Bus Stop Darla Daley, a photo by alington on Flickr.
My favorite Darla Daley created so far: Bus Stop!

I'm not sure is it's her lovely chestnut hair or her super soft facial screening, but she is fabulous!

This girl includes two pairs of hands--one painted white, as seen here. She has a cool jersey striped dress with cotton trim and tiny button details, plus patterned tights.

She has a gorgeous chain purse, hat with ribbon trim, hoop earrings, and awesome shoes, too, as accessories. And yes, she stands on her own.

Perfectly Purple Poppy Parker

When it rains it pours. Yesterday I received three new dolls from the Poppy Parker line. The first is Perfectly Purple and she is Mary Tyler Moore all the way! I love her. The suit is darling and check out the details on her shoes. The only part of her outfit I don't like are those odd three-part white gloves. This Poppy was a limited edition of 400 (which sold out quickly) and was part of the mainline 2011 collection. She has green forward-facing eyes and medium-length brown hair. Just darling...

Sweet Confection Poppy Parker

She is here and she couldn't be more beautiful. A W Club exclusive doll, Sweet Confection Poppy is the first  to have a tan skin tone. I love her dreamy eyes and the applied lashes. Her fashion consists of a faux white leather coat and matching purse with silver chain handle (my favorite accessory). Her dress has a white ruffled top with blue buttons and blue attached skirt with blue belt. The shoes are blue and the same style as those found in the Jet Set convention Poppy and Darla giftset. The white hose are identical to I Love How You Love Me and Tears Go By. Silver hoop earrings, blue chiffon scarf, sunglasses, and a silver bracelet complete her look.

She has long brunette hair worn in a braid, blue side-glancing eyes, gold eyeshadow, and pale lips. Her fashion, designed by Jason Wu, is a replica of  one of Wu's 2010 line.

Reluctant Debutante Poppy Parker

From the 2009 line is this Poppy Parker doll, Reluctant Debutante. She has shoulder-length black hair, blue side-glancing eyes, and pale lips. Her original ensemble includes a yellow hair ribbon, faux pearl earrings, a white faux fur coat, light blue dress, a tulle slip, long white gloves, nude hose, and yellow closed-toe spikes. The shoes are a bit too wide for her feet. Considering her edition size (700), this Poppy should be relatively easy to find, however this is one of the hardest Poppy dolls to locate on the secondary market.
