Petworks Momoko: ae ＜ahcahcum＞

A new Momoko designed by “ahcahcum” Masako Shinya,a fashion designer, is available for pre-order.  She comes all dolled-up in a variety of pink shades as well as red lips and black hair.  She comes with the cool face, not the honey face.  Petworks indicates that the blouse is slightly sheer and the fabric has an original "ahcahcum" print of sexy pin-up girls.

This doll will be produced on order with the pre-order period being from October 27, 2014 to November 16, 2014.  If she is ordered through the Petworks online store during the pre-order period, shipping will be free.  She will be delivered between July to August 2015.  Her price is 27,000 yen.

Many More Momoko (and Ruruko)

It's been a while since I've produced a Momoko/Ruruko update, but there are a few more out in the world that need some attention.  Let's begin: 

PetWorks CCS 14AN Momoko (PK, GR):  Pink and Green versions of 14AN will be available for preorder on the PetWorks Global Store website late September.  Pink is a honey face and Green is a cool face with a mole.  They both seem to have a similar floral print worked into their outfits, but you get your choice of boyish or cutesy girl.  Each costs 24,840 yen.


PetWorks Momoko ae ＜SILVER BUTTERFLY＞ Life Still Life:  This beauty is designed by Silver Butterfly, doll fashion designer.  The Momoko will be produced on order with preorders taken from September 15th to 29th.  The delivery schedule is April – May 2015, but could be subject to delays.  She will be sold through the PetWorks Global Store.  Life Still Life has a cool face and comes with the outfit pictured.  I especially love the glasses!  She costs 23,760 yen.

PetWorks CCSgirl 14AN Ruruko PS:  There is a new Ruruko coming out with a "release schedule" of late September 2014.  She will be available at the PetWorks Global Store for 21,600 yen.  She sports the same floral print at the 14AN Momoko.  She comes with the outfit pictured and will likely sell out super fast when she goes up on the PetWorks website.

New Momoko: Today’s momoko Korea MFC 10th AN

A new lovely Today's Momoko will be produced in a small quantity to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Momoko fan club in Korea.  She is a tan Momoko with a honey face!  Something tells me she is going to be a popular doll for collectors. 

She will be sold exclusively at mamaZdoll.  According to PetWorks, inquiries (in English or Japanese) will be accepted at mamazdoll@naver.com as well as the website.

Momoko: Today's CCS Momoko 1405

There will be another Today's Momoko available soon and she has quite the cute face.  She will be available on May 5, 2014 at a doll show in Japan for 15,500 yen.  It is possible she may be available through PetWorks online stores in the future.  She comes with a simple one-piece outfit and no shoes.  She has a honey face and straight long honey brown hair.

New ae Momoko by KOGUMAZA: The princess of Queen Cat and Deer

PetWorks put together a new Momoko with doll designer, Kogumaza, to create a very mori-girl inspired doll.  This young lady comes with a cute print dress of furry creatures with matching flat shoes.  She is a honey face sculpt with unique ultra blonde eyebrows.  This Momoko also has gray eyes, gold eyeshadow, baby pink lips, champagne-silver nails, fair skinned body, and fluffy updo with a mix of ash-blonde and pale-blonde.

The doll will be available for preorder through the PetWorks Global Store from May 5-19, 2104.  Her price is 23,760 yen and free shipping is offered if you buy the doll during the preorder period.

New Momoko: CCS 14SS (BL and BR)

Get ready for two new PetWorks CCS Momoko to hit the shelves soon!  These two Momoko dolls have the honey face with bright red lips.  These lash-less ladies have blue-gray eyes with different hair styles.  Each doll comes with the same knit dress, shorts, and wedge shoes.  The "BL" version has blond hair and the "BR" version has brown hair.

They are currently available for preorder through doll vendors and should be for sale in the PetWorks Global Store soon.  Each doll is 19,400 yen.

New Momoko: CCS 14NY PS

A new Momoko will be hitting the shelves in April and it looks like she sports the same outfit, shoes, headband, and make-up as a previously released Momoko, CCS 14NY.  The new doll has a different hairstyle, but in the same hair color.

This new Momoko will be sold exclusively through PetWorks online stores, like the PetWorks Global Store, in April 2014 for 18,900 yen. 

CCS 14NY Momoko & Ruruko

Check out this Momoko has been out for a few days.  She comes with floral print overalls, brown top with ruffles at the shoulder, ballet flats, headband and pigtails.  It's a little hard to tell, but she is a honey face with blush on her nose.  She has coral-pink nail polish and PetWorks notes her hair is champagne brown.

This Momoko is available for preorder for only a short while longer.  She is 18,900 yen and can be purchased from doll retailers and possibly the PetWorks Global Store.

There is also a Ruruko doll that just came out sporting the same floral print.  Ruruko is a new doll to PetWorks and has been gaining quite a bit of popularity.

Momoko: "Aquarius" Lamm & Fromm

The twins, Lamm and Fromm, are back in an Aquarius theme.  Lamm sports long straight white blonde hair as well as a knit blue dress with matching pumps.  Fromm is going for a more natural look of
long straight ash brown hair, white/cream knit dress, and white maryjanes.  Both girls have the same face of nude/pink lipstick, no eyeshadow, and no eyelashes.


Each doll is 18,095 yen and will be available in January 2014. At this time, it is unclear if dolls will be available at the Petworks Global Store.

New Momoko: CCS Today’s 1312

Another Momoko will be hitting the shelves soon and she is a Today's edition Momoko in a one-piece outfit.  She has a cool face, natural skin, clear/pink nail polish, and short brown hair. This Momoko comes in a plastic bag, not a box, and does not include shoes.

She is a PetWORKs stores exclusive and can be purchased online at the Japan PetWORKs site or the Global Store.  She is being offered for 16,500 yen. She will be available starting December 6th, 2013.

Ordering CCS 09AW "Puppy Garden/Stars and Papillon," Again

The votes have been cast for the most popular Close Clipped Sheep (CCS) Momoko released in 2009 and it is Puppy Garden.  She will be produced again and be offered with a simple one-piece outfit.  She will come in a plastic bag, not a box. 

Preorders are being taken for Puppy Garden at the PetWorks Global Store from November 20 to December 1, 2013.  She is being offered for 16,500 yen and will ship between March-April 2014.  Don't miss out on the second wave of this lovely doll!

Three New Petworks Momoko

The fall season has kicked in and some Momoko inspired by this time of year have been released on the Petworks website. 

Two dolls are a part of the CCS13AW set called "Autumnal Tints."  The two different versions are called "Yellow Leaf" and "Red Leaf."  Both dolls sport quite different clothing and faces, but they both have short hair cuts.  Yellow Leaf is a honey face and Red Leaf is a cool face.  Both are available at 24,000 yen each and can currently be preordered through Petworks Momoko dealers.

The third Momoko is CCS13AW Home.  She has soft black long wavy hair, a cute knitted one piece dress with fuzzy long sleeves, and pink wedge shoes.  She has a cool face sculpt and pastel pink nail polish.  She is available at 19,000 yen and can currently be preordered through Petworks Momoko dealers.

Petworks Momoko ae "Mary Magdalene"

Momoko doll faces are getting a makeover with this new lady sporting designs from Mary Magdalene.  The Momoko has a sideways glance honey face, beige eye shadow, light pearl pink lipstick, carrot mix colored hair, pink nails, and fair skin.  She comes with a mini-hat, blouse, pale blue jumper dress, knee high socks, and maryjane shoes.  She looks like a cute marionette.  

She will be available for 28,000 yen, starting in late October.  It is currently unclear if she will be sold in the Petworks Global Store.

CCS Momoko 13AN ​​Home: LAMM or FROMM

A couple of new Momoko have been introduced to the Petworks team, 13AN Home.  There are two versions, LAMM and FROMM.  LAMM appears to have long curly platinum white hair and Petworks boots, while FROMM has silver and platinum white mixed hair and wedge pumps.  Otherwise, all other features of the dolls appear to be the same other than perhaps a different skin tone.  The dolls are likely only going to be sold at a special event in Japan.

What do you think of the twins?  I'm loving the mixed silver and white hair. 

I think we've seen that dress before on the Mauve Maiden Momoko.  It is a bit hard to tell, but the dress might be the same green color as Mauve Maiden's too.

New CCS Momoko: 13AN Home

Momoko just seem to get cuter an cuter.  Check out this lovely new Momoko whose theme is "Mauve Maiden."  Her description provided by PetWORKs is pretty great: 

"A mademoiselle momoko living in the mansion with luxury drape curtains.
A sigh fallen from her mauve lips fades away into the high ceiling."

Some features of the doll include the honey face, fair skin, gold faded eye-shadow, and mauve lips.  Something about her reminds me of City in the Sea.  Perhaps this is City in the Sea's rich sister?

2008 Momoko to Come Back

Recently on the PetWORKs website, people could vote for a 2008 CCS Momoko to come back as a Today's Momoko.  Well, the votes are in and it looks like 08SS The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Cowardly Lion won. I am excited to see her come back into production, especially since I voted for her.  The top 3 are listed below.

New Momoko: CCS 13SM Home

There is a new fabulous PetWORKs Momoko coming out in mid June 2013 and she is another honey face.  This great Momoko appears to come in two different options of a gray or white top outfit.  Both outfits will come with a similar shirt in different colors as well as different shoes and pants.  The shirt has a print that reads, "DON'T COUNT YOUR DOLLS."  Fabulous.  I feel like I need a matching shirt to wear as well.

CCS Momoko: 13SM Home

The Momoko has long black hair, light orange natural lips, and white pearl eye shadow.  She will be available for 19,000 yen.
