Diana Prince - Undercover

Undercover

This Tonner Doll is called Undercover and is from the new Diana Prince collection. She's a blonde Tyler 2.0 sculpt on a 16" Fit body, and I'm really quite pleased with her. Her outfit is great, too--white slacks, sequined tank top, a belt, necklace, earrings, bag and faux fur trimmed coat.

I think it's cute that when Wonder Woman goes Undercover, she wears all white, with sparkles and fur!

New fall release from Tonner Doll Company: Diana Prince collection

The new fall release from Tonner Doll was revealed yesterday, and several new dolls have been added to the Diana Prince line. I'm impressed that Tonner has managed to make Wonder Woman into a fashion icon as well, plus I'm a fan of the Tyler 2.0 sculpt (though I have her original edition already).

One basic doll and three dressed dolls have been released, plus three additional outfits. These are sized for the new "fit" body--I find that my doll can wear traditional sized Tyler clothes, but her arms and bust are slightly larger, and her hips might be, too. I haven't tried pants on her yet. I saw another collector described the fit body as the Starlet body with larger biceps--but I thought the bust might be slightly larger as well.

Above, Diana Prince is a dressed doll price at $179.99, limited to 500, and is in stock. She has a black rooted updo, painted blue eye, and is wearing dress with a red bodice and black velvet skirt, with gold chain detail. She also includes gold jewelry, black shoes, and a stand.

Princess of Paradise Island is sure to be a hit with Wonder Woman fans and fashion doll collectors alike. She is limited to 500, retails for $199.99, and is available for preorder. I don't see an estimated shipping date yet. She also has painted blue eyes and long black waves, with a gold headband. She's wearing a light blue (not white) crinkle chiffon dress with gold chain belt and accessories.

Undercover is limited to 500 and retails for $189.99. This is a blonde version of the new Tyler sculpt (some collectors call this sculpt Tyler 2.0) with blue eyes. I love the outfit! It's an ivory sequin tank, with slacks, coat with faux fur trim, belt, pumps, bag and silver accessories. She's also in stock now.

Diana Prince Basic is the basic doll, priced at $119.99, limited to 500, and includes a stand (which probably explains her additional price increase). She has raven rooted hair, blue painted eyes, and is dressed in a red cotton tank with blue panties. (I find her outfit amazingly adorable--it reminds me of underoos from my childhood.) She has a red ribbon headband as well. This is a great doll promo in which to see the new body. She expected to ship on October 10.

Beyond the Stars is an outfit, scheduled to arrive on October 10, LE 300, retailing for $99.99. It includes black satin pants, a silver bodysuit, jacket with sequin cuffs, faux fur headband, sunglasses, bag, silver earrings and black and silver sandals.

Modern Day Princess is also scheduled to arrive on October 10 and is limited to 300. It retails for $109.99. It includes a silver and grey knit dress, grey tights, platform shoes, earrings, purse, and bracelets.

Wonder Woman 52 outfit is limited to 500, scheduled to arrive on October 10, and retails for $99.99. It's a nice Wonder Woman costume, including a red bodice with silver trim, blue panty, silver gauntlets, an armband, a choker, headband, lasso and boots.

These dolls can be ordered from your favorite dealer--and many are in stock or will be in stock soon. I highly recommend Dreamcastle Dolls for excellent prices and service!

Wonder Woman 52

Wonder Woman 52 by alington

The lovely Wonder Woman 52 makes her appearance on the blog (finally) in the Amethyste fashion (an older Theatre de la Mode gown from 2003, I believe, which barely snaps over her rather busty heroic figure).

Wonder Woman uses the Tyler Wentworth 2.0 sculpt with raven hair and blue eyes. I think she restyles very well, though she'd fit better in DeeAnna Denton fashions, I think. I love her!

New Tonner Dolls previewed yesterday

Yesterday, Tonner Doll sneaked a peek at four new dolls coming out in its Fall/Holiday release, including Wonder Woman Steampunk and Tron: Legacy collection. You can preorder them directly from Tonner with free shipping, and from your favorite Tonner dealers.

I'll just say right now that while I'm not usually a huge superhero fan, I'm a little taken with Wonder Woman, Steampunk #1. She's limited to 500 dolls, retail $174.99, and she's estimated to arrive on July 13. She uses the Diana head sculpt on the 16" Heroic body. Check out this boots and goggles! I'm sure using this head sculpt helps--she is really gorgeous!

Sam Flynn from Tron: Legacy is also limited to 500, $179.99. His delivery date is to be decided. He uses a new Garrett Hedlund portrait head sculpt with wigged hair. He's a cutie! (I see an Arduino project on this bodysuit, if I could find a place for the battery pack!)

Gem uses a new Beau Garrett head sculpt with applied eyelashes, platinum hair, on a Lily skin tone body. She includes an extra pair of hands in addition to the white ones shown here with painted silver fingertips. Her outfit looks fantastic! She'll arrive July 20, is limited to 500, $174.99.

Olivia Wilde makes her first appearance as a Tonner Doll as Quorra. She's got a raven wig, painted blue eyes, and two sets of hands. Her delivery date is to be determined. She's limited to 500, $174.99.

I really can't wait to see photos of the production dolls!

Additionally, Tonner has announced that any leftover San Diego Comic Con Zombie Boy dolls will be sold beginning July 18, $159.99.

From the Amazonia Wonder Woman breakout event from Tonner Convention, this lovely lady is the souvenir doll.

Amazonia is limited to 300 dolls, and retails for $175. She uses a blue-eyed Diana head sculpt on the 16" Heroic body. She includes both regular hands and painted blue fist hands. She has rooted black hair, with painted ringlets.

Her outfit includes a burgundy faux leather bodice with gold bird topstitched on the front, attached blue panties, and a burgundy waist wrap with silver star accents. She also includes navy blue gauntlets and silver gauntlet bracelets, blue choker, nude hose, metallic boots, and a gold crown with a red star.

She includes a stand.

She is still available on Tonner Doll's website. You can see more photos of her on Flickr as well.
