A Wave from Japan Auction at Auction Fever

Alice's Sweets - Mint Jelly Momoko
Starting tomorrow, February 5, 2011 at 9 am PST, and lasting the week through February 12 at 7 PM PST, Auction Fever will be hosting A Wave from Japan Auction.

First, you'll want to read all the fine print here to learn about this auction and how to bid.

Here is the promotional text:
A Wave auction is different from a regular Auction Fever auction. First of all it is only Japanese Exclusive Items in this auction. It's like a giant treasure hunt because all the items are not categorized, they are just added as sellers send them to me. So search through the 4 pages and nearly 200 items that are offered for bids. The main pages are up right now for you to preview the items available, and the individual pages will go up by Saturday morning. So go and look at the main pages to see what will be offered starting Saturday, Feb. 5 at 9 am PST.
You'll find all sorts of fun items by Momoko, Dollystyle exclusive dolls, FR Nippon, Blythe, Azone, Pullip, Fashion Royalty convention exclusives and more. Oh my! The preview items are up, but the bidding won't start till tomorrow.

Also, it appears that the larger images don't seem to be working yet, either.

New Tonner promo photo...

I missed this new Tonner promo photo during my last update yesterday. While Bette wasn't my favorite sculpt, I have to say, this version of her really has me intrigued!

Stardust, Bette Davis™ dressed doll
But again, I'm a sucker for lavender.

Were any of you at IDEX, and did any of you happen to see her in real life? What did you think? Was her jaw line too heavy?

New promo photos of Gowns by Anne Harper Collection by Tonner Doll

Check out the following updates to the Gowns by Anne Harper Collection by Tonner Doll. Oh me, oh my--I'm in deep trouble! (For those of you who passed on these during last year's release, they are really top notch.)
Red, White and You Carol Barrie.
She reminds me of a less cheerful Betty Ann, from the Brenda Starr collection.

Feather in Her Hat Ann Harper.
I wonder if this was the best pose they could come up with. But the outfit is great.

All About Carol Outfit Only.
I don't think the wig is included, but wow--what a dress! I love that plaid bow!

We have a winner!

Who will it be?, originally uploaded by alington.
Congratulations to Rosemary, who is the winner of our drawing on Facebook! You've just added a Model 10 Barbie Basic to your collection, along with the Gold Accessory Pack from the brand new 2.0 line as well.

I had lots of help in the neutral party department, and a total of 28 entries. You can see the full photo series on Flickr.

Thanks to all the fans who participated, and thanks for all your gracious comments. To those of you who aren't on Facebook--I promise our next contest will be coming soon, and it will include all our readers!
