New releases from Tonner Doll, part II

Tonner Doll Company continues its Fall/Holiday release with two new additions to the Theatre de la Mode. Elegance #93 uses the Gina head sculpt and a gorgeous pleated dusty rose satin dress with silke flower trim, white gloves and rhinestone jewels. She's LE300 and $224.99. Her shipping date is TBA.

Glamorous #75 also use the Gina head sculpt, dressed in a black chiffon dress with rhinestone decorations on the bodice. She wears a velvet headpiece with a belt, black shoes, and rhinestone earrings. She's also LE300, retails for $229.99, and will ship October 25.

Shipboard Wedding is a new dressed doll LE300 ($224.99) or outfit LE50 ($99.99) added to the Marilyn Monroe collection.

Two new basic dolls and two new outfits have been added to the Re-Imagination line this year--finally! No photo is yet available for 16" Fairytale Basic, but she uses the Kay head sculpt. Above, you can see 16" Vintage Basic, who uses the Daphne head sculpt. Both dolls are limited to 500 and retail for $149.99. Shipping is TBA.

 The DC Stars are back with three new 16" super heroes--Wonder Woman 52 (new Tyler sculpt--photo coming soon),  Mera 52 (Lois Lane head) and Supergirl 52. They retail for $199.99 each, LE300, with shipping TBA.

Additionally, there will be a new 22" Harley Quinn, LE200, $349.99. She uses the alabaster skin tone and has inset sky blue eyes, and pale blonde rooted hair. In addition to her painted hands, she also includes alabaster hands as well.

Finally, the last photos belong to the Sinister Circus collection. Three new dressed dolls are coming. Ava is shown below and uses the 15" teen body and Alice's Sister head. She's $174.99, LE200. Above, Dark Soul uses the Batman head sculpt and the 18" Superhero body. He's also limited to 200 and retails for $259.99. Finally, Dark Mistress uses the Breathless head sculpt on a BW body, and is $239.99. Photo and shipping dates are forthcoming.

Several other dolls are announced (Antoinette, Gone with the Wind) with photos pending, as well as a whole bunch of new Patsy dolls.

Tonner Doll Mainline Release: Celebrity and Film

Available for preorder, Tonner has announced the licensing agreement to the film Warm Bodies, and the production of two new dolls from the film, limited edition 1000, with delivery dates to be announced.

Above, it's R - $189.99. He uses the Nicholas Hoult head sculpt, lily skin tone (he's a zombie, after all), with blue eyes and a non-removable mink wig.

Below, we've got Julie - $179.99, who is based on Teresa Palmer. She's on a 16" Tyler body in the Tyler skin tone, with blue eyes.

Next, a surprise release from the movie A Christmas Story, Ralphie - $159.99 LE1000. He is on the 12" Harry Potter body and has a new Peter Billingsley headsculpt. He has blue eyes and molded blond hair, a red plaid shirt, off white sweater, and brown cords. Of course he includes his trademark brown glasses and a resin faux BB gun. He'll shoot his eye out! No promo photo is yet available, and delivery is TBA.

Then, also no promo photos or release date are available for Bella Cullen, LE 500 $189.99. She uses the Kristen Stewart head sculpt on a cameo Tyler body with golden brown eyes. She is wearing a black tee shirt, black jacket, stretch denim pants, black leg warmers, and black boots. She of course wears her wedding ring.

Scarlett, new from the Gone with the Wind collection - LE300 - $224.99 - ships 2/15/13. This dressed doll includes a red gown with black trim and red beads and a gold brooch.

Also announced, but no promo photo available, 22" Scarlett's Wedding Day - $399.99 LE300. Shipping TBA. She uses an American Model body in a white embroidered gown with lace trim, white slip, white gloves, faux pearl necklace, veil, and white satin pumps.

Glinda, the Good Witch™ is limited to 500 and retails for $249.99. She will ship on 2/22/13. SHe uses the Glinda sculpt with strawberry curls and blue eyes on a Tyler body. She has a gorgeous pink gown with star sequins and glitter, and a rhinestone brooch, a wand, crown, and pink glittering shoes.

Marilyn Monroe and James Dean from Tonner Doll

The 16" Marilyn Monroe collection is now available for preorder from Tonner Doll Company. Marilyn uses the Starlet body, which is the Tyler skin tone, with rooted blonde hair and painted blue eyes. All dolls include a stand.

16" Diamonds is limited to 1000 and retails for $189.99. She has a lovely peony dress with large back bow with black trim, a matching belt, gloves, and shoes, rhinestone jewelry, and hose.

James Dean is limited to 1000 and retails for $159.99. He uses a new head sculpt and the 17" Matt O'Neil body. No photo is yet available, but he will have blonde rooted hair and blue eyes. He's dressed in a white shirt, denim pants, red jacket and black boots.

I Just Adore Conversation is the outfit only, and retails for $124.99 and is limited to $124.99. It includes the lovely chiffon beaded gown, matching fringed scarf, rhinestone earrings and bracelet, and gold shoes.

Roberta Moves In is an outfit that retails for $99.99 which is limited to 300. It includes a sharply tailored dark blue and white skirt and jacket, white gloves, faux pearl bracelet, beaded bracelet, flower beaded earrings, and a white hat with dark blue trim and veil. (I think this is my favorite outfit!)

Hot Night is another limited edition of 300 outfit, retailing for $89.99. This includes a fuchsia dress, white scarf, silver earrings and gold bracelet, with black sandals.

I am Lorelei is limited to 300, and this outfit includes a blue dress with matching belt and jacket, tan faux fur scarf, blue beaded earrings, rhinestone bracelet, and matching shoes. It retails for $99.99.

Marilyn Monroe as Pola Debevoise retails for $124.99 and is limited to 500. She include a red bathing suit, rhinestone earrings, and red shoes with clear soles.

I Just Adore Conversation 16" Outfit

Tonner Doll Company has been granted the license to Marilyn Monroe's Twentieth Century Fox movies, and will release a collection of 16" dolls and outfits based on these wonderful films in the upcoming Fall Holiday line.

Like the previously released dolls from the 2012 Convention Diamonds event, the 16" dolls will feature the starlet body, with the Tyler bust line and fuller hips.

From the Gentlemen Prefer Blondes Dinner, this is Animal Magnetism, Tonner's 16" Marilyn Monroe sculpt.

She is on a new Starlet body, which uses a Tyler Wentworth bust, and a curvy bottom, and high heel feet. She has rooted blonde hair, blue eyes, and an open mouth.

Her jewelry and her outfit is really nicely done in this piece--and I believe she was limited to 200 dolls. Her jacket is lined and closes in front with a rhinestone clip. Her black gown is also lined, and uses a black on black printed satin.

She wears black peep toe mules with bow detailing at the toe.

I wasn't at first sold on this sculpt--but the more I take her out an play with her, the more I can see her as Marilyn. I really love her!

Diamonds

This wonderful 22" American Model doll was the centerpiece from the Marilyn Monroe dinner, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, from the 2012 Tonner Convention. She is called Diamonds, and she is a new licensed Marilyn Monroe sculpt.

Her gown is lined pink satin, with black detailing on the bow and slit in the back of the dress. She has a separate pink belt with buckle, and matching pink gloves (and nude gloves to prevent stains). She has pink satin mules that match her outfit as well.

Her jewelry is absolutely fabulous--diamonds really are a girl's best friend in this case--diamonds and dolls!

Marilyn is a limited edition of 100 dolls. She was for sale briefly on Tonner's website, and you might still be able to find her on eBay. After deboxing mine, I'm finding I'm loving her more each day!
