Secret of the Three Teardrops Barbie is a 1999 doll that was made to go along with a Grolier children's book of the same name. I was able to pick up the NRFB book and doll for $15, including shipping, from eBay.

If you like historically dressed dolls, she's a good buy. She isn't a great quality, but she's very pretty.

Check out her simple yet elegant facial screening and gorgeous platinum updo. While her dress closes with velcro and is made from stiff, cheap fabric, it's cut and styled well, and it's fashioned in Rococo style. She even includes cream-colored ivory period-style slippers, similar to the pink Wedgewood doll.

I think she's a cute collectible doll. Plus, if you're looking for a French Revolutionary Barbie head, she might be perfect for a OOAK Marie Antoinette! More photos on Flickr.
