A new Gold Label doll has been announced for this year. Her name is Pink In Pantone™. She's been designed by Linda Kyaw, and she's due to ship in December. You can see a photo and pre-order at Marl & B, who has her listed at $49.99.
Additionally, FAO will have an exclusive doll released in Spring of 2012, a pink label, also designed by Linda Kyaw. You may be able to see a photo on BarbieCollector.com.
FYI, the link you put in the article requires the viewer to sign in to their account.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know--that's the only photo I was able to find so far. It's free to sign up on BarbieCollector, but I'm not sure anyone can see these photos.
ReplyDeleteAlso, since she's from FAO, she may not be available on their site till she's ready to order.
Pink in Pantone is so creative - I love it! And, am I the only one who didn't know that "PMS" (in this case) is an acronym for "Pantone Matching System" instead of something else? I thought maybe they were just trying to be funny when they described Barbie's signature color as PMS 219. ;) I think every interior decorator (or anyone else who works with the Pantone system) should have this doll on their desk.
