Oh no--looks like I should save all my money until the second half of the year next year. The Austin BJD Convention is happening this weekend, and registration is closed. However, the show floor will be open Saturday, August 7 at the Omni Hotel Southpark from 10 AM - 3 PM and will be open to the public.I will do everything I can to go next year, because it looks like Peak's Woods will be one of the vendors. Ack! Their limited edition (of only 40) dolls, a collaboration with DollHeart, is called Bloody Alice. The doll shown is a Wake-Up Yeru sculpt and a gorgeous Alice set, which can be ordered with a plain or "bloodied" apron. It's just gorgeous. The doll is included with the wig, eyes, special face-up, complete dress set and shoes. (Socks are not included.)
Her price is $648 at the show, which isn't bad for them, and their limited editions. So enjoy, dear convention attendees!
Also--form reading the description this morning--it looks like if this doll did not sell out at the convention, any extras will go on sale to the general public on September 1-10. Hooray! :)

ReplyDeleteI believe it still is--this outfit (and a pink version, too) were manufactured separately as outfits only by DollHeart, and just released. Many DollHeart dealers have them in stock now. :)
ReplyDeleteOH yes--I think it's called Blue Alice (or Pink Alice). And you should definitely check out the other outfits that were released in this set!
