Lady Emerald

Finally, a post with a real life Tonner Doll in it! This is Lady Emerald, a rarely seen Tonner Doll from Wizard of Oz collection of 2009. She is a limited edition of 150, and she was a fun raffle win at IFDC.

Her promotional photo was a little spooky, I thought, but she's a gorgeous brunette Ozmopolitan sculpt in person. She has long, thick brown hair, very full, in a hair-wrapped ponytail.

Her outfit, like all of the Oz collection, is fantastically finished. She wears a satin long-sleeved gown with sequin detailing on the sleeves. The pleated chiffon cape is topped with a white collar with iridescent piping trim at the top. The head covering reminds me of something from the middle ages--it's stuffed on top, and the green matches the piping on the cape. There is a hole in the back for her ponytail, too.

She has cute emerald green round toed pumps, and includes a yellow brick road stand.

Check out more photos of her on Flickr--including Lady Emerald without the head covering, so you can see her gorgeous eyelashes!

  1. Ooh, a brunette Lady Ozmo! I like her, a LOT!

I have the raven version, and I would like to track down the blonde and redhead versions of this girl as well.
