Ryung, with new face-up
I actually like Ryung well enough to keep her just like this for a while. And it will be great to have a doll I can redo when I like. She's very natural now--not at all like when I first got her with her dark black eye liner and red nail polish (oh my goodness, that took me 20 minutes to get off this morning--never going to do it to my dolls). She fits in great with my Peak's Woods girls. And wow--has she got legs!
Check out more photos of her here, original photos of her here, of her blank face here, and of my first face-up attempt (I wasn't happy with her lashes, clumpy eye shadow or brows so much) here.

Meet Adel!
Meet Adel, a special edition Elfdoll tiny with human ears from 2007. I bought her used on Den of Angels. I couldn't be happier.
And she included two extra head caps. With these dolls, you glue the wigs onto the head caps to switch them. Now, I have two extra options of my little girls to wear. Hooray! And, now I have an extra pair of high heel feet, so I can restring Sylf, if I'd like her to be able to stand.
Adel is so sassy and classy. She's only 5.5" (about 14 cm) tall. So cute and tiny.
Visit my Flickr photostream to see her box opening (the seller even wrapped her up so nicely!), her first photo shoot, and also Adel posing with the rest of my tiny family.

This post is the brain child of Wanda Lee of the Plumed Pen, who hosts these online Tea for Two tea parties every Tuesday. You can participate, too. Visit her website for details!
More sleeping beauties
You can check out the rest of the photoshoot on Flickr.
Now, before my house really falls to pieces around me, I'd better get back to work!

Olivia
I have to confess, I'm bummed to be taking down the Christmas tree today. It makes such a fun background!

Christmas Fairy
This year, we've added a new kitten to our household, so we've only decorated the tree with non-breakable ornaments--all in silver and clear. It's gorgeous, actually. (Lily likes to climb the tree and play with the ornaments.) Plus, it makes for some fantastic photos, as well.
You can see the rest of Olivia's photos on my Flickr photostream. Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend!

Morphoa and Olivia
Olivia is adorable. I love her peaceful sleeping face, which is similar to Kai's. She is a 2008 model, with strung (not magnetic) feet, and she also includes an extra set of hands. I also got an extra dress for her, and some other goodies, which is fun.
I still need to attach her wig permanently, and I need to do a real photo shoot, but I figure I should put some photos up now. Enjoy--see some others on Flickr, or the full-size ones on my Mobile Me gallery.

Tiny Kai - by Elfdoll
My very first Elfdoll has arrived, and I don't think she will be my last! She's adorable.
Kai is a flower fairy. She's a full set, including the dress with attached feather wings, face-up, eyes (3mm--one blue, one brown), and wig, which still needs to be attached to the head cap properly.
She stands 14cm tall (about 5.5 inches). She's slim, but has a miniature woman's shapely body. And she also includes magnetic feet--these white shoes and a set of bare feet--which are at the same time simple to change and stay on securely. She also came strung with closed-fist hands, and included a pair of open hands as well.
I was examining how her wrist joints work--I had never before unstrung a doll (and wasn't planning on starting on one so tiny)--when I accidentally unhooked Kai's right hand. The elastic crept up the wrist ball joint, but I caught it before her entire arm came unstrung. I was able to get another (right) open hand hooked back on, as well as the wrist ball joint (thankfully, right side up, on the second try). After the experience, I've decided I'd better learn about restringing dolls, and soon!
I bought her from Lone Star Dolls, who I highly recommend. The doll was not only in stock on Monday, she shipped the same day, and I received her today (Wednesday)--free shipping, too! And she even included an extra wig, for free. I recommend this store highly, and will definitely be ordering again--probably sooner than I should.
See more photos with Kai, including a few posed with Sky and Morphoa (my SD-sized dolls), for a size reference on my Mobile Me gallery. She's so cute! You can even see more extreme photos of her box opening, too.
